What Is Cosmetic Enhanced Eyebrows?

There are various techniques to enhance eyebrows.

* Classic eyebrows where the entire eyebrow is shaded one color.

* Microshading  eyebrows where the shading begins at the tail of the eyebrow and the color graduates to lighter shade as it moves to the front of the eyebrow.

* Nanoblading is applying brow strokes to the front of the eyebrow or the entire eyebrow.

 

In each procedure a cosmetic technician applies semi-permanent makeup to your eyebrows. It’s a type of cosmetic tattoo procedure.

How Are The Various Eyebrows Done?

The technician uses a PMU (permanent makeup) hand held machine to achieve fuller or denser brows. The hand held tattoo machine creates repetitive pixels using semi-permanent pigment ink. Nanoblading uses a thin needle to create eyebrow strokes that look like natural hair strokes.

How Does It Feel While Receiving The Treatment?

Remember it is a cosmetic tattoo. Numbing cream is applied throughout the process of shading the eyebrows to keep you comfortable during the eyebrow procedure. Each client experiences will differ depending on levels of discomfort during the procedure. It depends on the individual’s pain tolerance and skin sensitivity.

 

Preparing For Your Enhancement

Avoid eyebrow tinting, waxing, tweezing or threading at least 7 days prior to your appointment.

If you use blood thinning medication contact your physician regarding blood thinning medications.

Avoid consuming caffeine as well as any sort of supplements like ibuprofen, aspirin, vitamin e, fish oil supplements and niacin at least 24 hour prior to your appointment.

Avoid retinol treatments 24 hours prior to your appointment.

The Initial Session

You will be greeted by your PMU artist and there will be a consultation of your eyebrows and your expectations. Then a semi-permanent pigment color will be selected.

Numbing cream is applied to the eyebrows for comfort.  The eyebrows are mapped for symmetry and the eyebrow shape is drawn on both eyebrows.

After numbing of the eyebrows the procedure begins of shading the brows with a permanent makeup machine/ tattoo pen. Once the procedure is complete the eyebrows will be cleaned up around the shape of the eyebrows.

 

We will take before and after pictures of your eyebrows to post on social media sites.

 

What To Expect After The First Service

You will be given instructions on how to care for your eyebrows. After the procedure you will notice changes during the first 5 days. Your eyebrows will appear darker. The eyebrows color will gradually lighten as your eyebrows heal. You may experience scabbing of the eyebrows. Continue to follow the instructions you were given.

 

The Second Session

4 to 6 weeks after your initial appointment you will return for the perfecting session of your eyebrows if needed.
